Achievement Friday
... I wrote this post last night before I went to bed and then somehow didn't post it. >< awkward... Anyway!
Hello, all! I hope this has been a most fruitful and painless week for everyone.
Tell us about what happened, here.
Also remember to contribute, if you feel like it, to our AU Thursday post--this week's theme is Skank!Kurt. There's also some meta discussion going on about everyone's favourite dance legend, Mike Chang, here!
And don't forget about our Summer Funtimes, commencing with the Summer recs post here. More of our hiatus stuff will soon follow, so stay posted!

I wrote a story (Till the Heavens Stop the Rain, in which Kurt hasn't been initiating sex so Blaine masturbates) and a drabble (Not a Victory March, in which Blaine is traumatized by something unexpected in a porno). Oh and a Warren/Reese drabble (Down to Get the Friction On, in which there's sleepiness and accidental nudity). Man, if I was getting paid to write smutty little stories, this week would have been SO productive.
I made my first podfic! It was harder than I thought it would be. I wasn't expecting my entire evening to go into seven and a half minutes of audio, LOL. I did sound effects and everything. Hee.

Every night last week, I worked on the 62-question math review while doing things like attending pointless last-week classes, writing about mythology and going to the athletic/clubs/community involvement banquet. All of the Saturday was math review. Then on Sunday, I went halfway across the city for a semi-productive chemistry study session before going back home and FINALLY conquering the math. :D
(By the way, I go to a non-semestered school, so I have all my exams in a big clump instead of in two installments in January and June. Keep this in mind.)
So. On Monday I mostly wasted time and transcribed some quotes for my English exam, which I wrote the next day. The books were Frankenstein/Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde/Pygmalion/Macbeth, so I pretty much kicked that exam's ass. But--plot twist--I couldn't get to sleep that night until 4:30 am, for no reason other than my body enjoys self-sabotaging.
On Wednesday at 10:30 I wake up with 6 hours of sleep under my belt and then I spend THE ENTIRE TIME UNTIL 4:20 AM THE FOLLOWING MORNING STUDYING FOR HISTORY. Man, that was painful. By the time I'm done reading the material, there's no point going to sleep, so I wait until the sun rises, then shower and leave for school.
Given that in the past 48 hours, I'd slept 6, it's no surprise that I nearly passed out while writing the essay portion of the history exam. But then I got to go home and sleep for the entire afternoon. Except then I had math the next day. :(
Long story short, I basically succeeded, even though I forgot how to do some stuff I learned in like October. Now I have to study for French (piece of cake), Chemistry (OMG I'M DOOMED) and Physics (somewhere in the middle of those two extremes). At least I'm halfway done!

Um, this week I did four HSC assessments, so that was fun--two of which were French exams. I also handed in something like 11k worth of writing in total for various assignments, which was pretty cool. And I made a poster for another assignment, which I was really proud of for a one night effort. And I managed to get by on less than six hours of sleep per night for six days XD And then today I did a bunch of non-school writing, which was good and satisfyingly unproductive.
So yeah, has been a good (if exhausting) week! ^_^
