As it's the second week and we probably don't all "know the drill" yet: Sunday is party time. Post anything--fic related, from snippets to cracky AUs; something pictorial, manips to gifsets to graphics; quotes, or conversations that occur entirely in quotes; interviews; memes; headcanons (all the headcanons)--basically, all the fun bits of tumblr without the scariness of, well, it being tumblr.

Welp, I started writing a Shakespearean!Klaine fic that was supposed to be 500 words or less and is now looking to be 2000+. HOW DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING? Oh well, I'm having fun with it. Casting Kurt as awesome Shakespeare women is fun. ^_^

Also, my dash is doing the whole "Chris vs. Darren" argument again. SIGH. Why can I not love them both? Why is that against the rules, fandom? Does this happen with other ships? Do Finchel fans argue that Lea is better than Cory? Do Brittana fans get into Naya vs. Heather arguments? WHY DO WE DO THIS, FANDOM?

In better news, I think I might actually manage to write enough to get a bingo on my au_bingo card! ...That's probably a sign that this hiatus is going on for too long.

Here, have some Brittany + Blaine friendship headcanon, inspired by this gifset





So, this headcanon is informed by four different things.

1: Santana’s, and ND-at-large’s, belief that Brittany needs to be protected, contrasted with Brittany’s general I-got-this attitude.

2: As you can see from the above, Britt appears to be the….only person besides Rachel/Kurt/Mercedes who Blaine really interacted with S2.

3: Brittany knows how to use a camera, but could she have done the camera work for Fondue For 2 while being in front of it?

4: This picture Elsje made, aka one of my favorite things ever.

So here’s how it goes.

Somehow, magically, Blaine and Brittany meet. Maybe she texts him by accident after BIOTA. Maybe he wanted to worship her after he saw her dancing at Sectionals. Maybe they met at motocross. IDK. But, they do, and significantly, Blaine is not the private-school asshole he really should be. After all, he’s friends with Kurt. So they hit it off.

Their friendship is a secret. Kurt doesn’t even know, and Santana definitely doesn’t. Blaine is the camera man for Fondue For 2, and over the summer they conquer the sewers together. The months progress. Finally, at some point, Santana decides that he trusts Blaine, or he’s too short to cause any serious damage, and she comes up to him in the hall one day and tells him that she’s busy today so she needs him to pick Brittany up from dance for her, and he better not make her regret letting him hang out with Brittany.

And Blaine blinks and her, and smiles, and says, finally, “That’s sweet. But we’ve been building a time machine for months, so I think we’ll probably be okay.”

And then he saunters off, and gains about five new levels of respect from Santana, who really needs to rethink how relationships work but whatever, Brittany just texted him and he thinks she’s talking about their plans for Lord Tubbington’s Intervention.

SHAKESPEAREAN KLAINE OMG. I am excited for that. Congrats on all the AUing, btw.

Those drawings sure are adorable. :) But oddly, the gifset only makes me think of Darren/Heather friendship, not Blaine/Brittany.

Your headcanon is cute though, and I LOVE Blaine being the cameraman for Fondue For Two. :D
