GLEE IS BACK! (3x15 Excitement, Spec, and Liveblogging Post)
WE'RE BACK, EVERYONE.
GET EXCITED.
(In light of the fact that I can't do any gifs for you right now, I expect to see a giant gif party in the comments when I wake up tomorrow morning. Do not fail me, comm. Do. Not. Fail. Me.*)
As follows, we're also back to normal posting schedule this week--so this is both our final speculation and excitement post before the episode starts, and our liveblogging/flailing post.
As we're still easing into working out what systems works, things may change in the next few weeks, but for now here's the set up we'll try: I will set up a comment thread for last minute spoiler-talk (MAKE SURE YOU NOTE WHAT SPOILERS/ELEMENTS YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT IN THE COMMENT HEADER, PLEASE, as always), and one for crazed gif party excitement.
When the episode starts you can do your liveblogging comments in their own threads, and narceus or I may set up specific discussion/character threads after the episode to ease post-ep discussion.
Then, after that, there will be two other posts--speculation on the new trailer, and another "Give Me All Your Gifs" post.
I hope that makes sense to everyone. Everything should go smoothly, but don't hate us if it doesn't! We'll also set up a thread at the end of the evening/liveblogging for you guys to comment on what worked or what didn't for future reference.
And now, let us get thoroughly and absolutely cray!
*I'll still love you if you don't. But you probably should anyway...
Re: POST-EPISODE FREAKOUT: SUE
...Sue's question about boy-nipples is a surprisingly good one.
We didn't need to see Sue's reaction to "your baby has irregularities", right? (It also makes sense because Sue's up there in years and her sister had Down's Syndrome...)
Oh, hey, I hate Roz Washington.
Sue continues to be offensive: She refers to Klaine as "ladies" even though she knows that's hurtful and gets David's race wrong. She is also on to Samcedes.
Uh... I don't know what to make of Kurt requesting help from Will. That was very odd.
Re: POST-EPISODE FREAKOUT: SUE
Don't think we needed to see Sue's reaction, no. I...part of me wonders if Sue isn't a bit happy about this. I suspect it's rather complicated, and nothing that reaction scene would really have shed light upon.
See, I take Kurt's request for help as a sign that Kurt has no problem playing his teachers one against the other. He'd never email Sue if Will was going off being awful, but that's because Sue is unpredictable like a kraken: once summoned, you never know what it's going to destroy. Will can pretty predictably be counted on here to march in and try to tone Sue down. Who's right or wrong doesn't particularly matter, just, Will can do what Kurt wants done.
