Mike Chang/Rachel Berry -- in a dream

It makes sense, when you think about it. No one loved Glee Club more than Rachel Berry.

No one, that is, except for Mike Chang.

He smiles at her, bows, kisses her hand (she is a sucker for a gentleman: it's why she loves/ed Blaine, loves Kurt; the best part of this is that Mike means it, will never kiss her and say it was a mistake, is capable of wanting her). He twirls her around the dance floor, and she's--she's not sure how she got here, or even why they're dancing, but they're laughing together, and it's fun, and she can't remember the last time she's enjoyed dancing like this.

(Finn steps on her toes every time.)

"You should talk more." She tells Mike as he dips her on the dance floor, still laughing quietly among themselves.

And then he tells her, in the kindest way anyone's ever said this to her: "Maybe you should talk less."

He kisses her.

(She wakes up flushed and guilty; later, she will be unable to look Tina or Finn in the eye, and she'll wonder what her dream was trying to say.)

"I don't get it," Blaine says with a frown.

"It's a fan community," Santana says with an exasperated sigh. "Listen dwarf, it's not that hard. Other people with no lives and probably no future get online and talk about a tv show."

"Right, I get that part," Blaine says politely. "But you keep saying 'fan' community and... they pretty much hate everything. He paused. "Especially me."

"Honestly doorknob, it's like you don't know anything. That's how you be a fan," Santana sneers. "Now if you'll excuse me, there's a thread about your hideous bowties. I need to weigh in."

Prompts:
Mike and Brittany rate the hottest guys in school. Santana files her nails.

Tina helping prepare NYADA auditions

Puck/Artie geometry tutoring

Silly: Finn. Just, something silly with Finn.

"Honey Brown is good for newbs," Puck declared, gesturing dangerously with his half-full cup. "It's easy to drink, but it's not too girly, you know? Or Pale Ale. Not as sweet, but not super bitter either."

Finn leaned against the brick wall of the back of the convenience store, sipped his own beer, and cringed.

"Oh, and if you have a choice, glass is better than aluminum cans, for like, everything. Totally changes the flavour."

Finn gazed out into the darkness of the concrete parking lot contemplatively. "So... why are we drinking a forty of Big Bear, warm, out of plastic airplane cups?"

"Dude, I'm not old enough to buy booze. I take what I can get."

Finn rolled his eyes. "Of course." He took another sip. And cringed.
