3x19: LIVEBLOGGING AND REACTION POST

(Alas, I am on the wrong computer to give you all a fancy gif...)

So, for those of you who are more excited for Glee's senior prom episode than you are or were for your own prom/formal (and this would be me, right here...)--this is the place for you! Share your last minute spec, with safely tagged comment headers up to when the episode airs, of course. Have gifparties, have freak outs, have fun.

About half an hour before one of us will set up a thread for livebloggage, which everyone is free to use and flail in as they please. After the ep your general reactions can go here too!

GET PUMPED, BASICALLY.

I'm not sure this prom can beat the awesomeness of last year's but I'M EXCITED anyway.

I am unimpressed.

It wasn’t bad. It wasn’t offensive or anything like I was scared it might be.

But it also wasn’t…good? Mostly I was just bored during the entire episode, and that's...not a good sign, people.

Idk. I was expecting better, especially since last year’s was so good.

Things I did like:

- Puck and Becky and every flawless thing they choose to be.

- Blaine as comic relief. Darren has excellent comedic timing, and I'm glad to finally see it.

- Quinn growing as a person.

- Tike, Samcedes, and Klaine being flawless as usual.

- Brittany was funny.

But...idk. I feel like this episode should have been more serious? Like, it didn't really have anything tying it together. It didn't have a *plot*. It was just...McKinley Prom 2012. That was it. There was nothing deeper to it than that.

idk. I am disappointed.

I will say, though, that even though I read the spoilers, and knew when Quinn was counting the votes there was no way Rachel wasn’t going to win (wow, random thought: faberry fans must be going crazy right about now—Quinn gave up her crown for Rachel) my heart stopped when they said “for the second year in a row, a write-in canidite has been chosen.”

And the camera zoomed in to Kurt, and then zoomed in to Blaine’s face.

And for three heartbreaking seconds I thought, oh no, they are going to crown my sweet baby prince prom queen just like his boyfriend last year.

(Then they announced it was Rachel and I stopped caring. BUT FOR THREE SECONDS I WAS ABOUT TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK.)

I think this episode was really important from a character standpoint. I have homework to do right now, but I will return and detail just how.
