I wrote an entry in the Klaine Madness contest! Everyone was assigned a location in which to write 500-1000 words of Klaine smut. I can't tell you exactly which story is mine, but I can tell you it's one of the two Amusement Park ones. You can vote for your favorites over here:

Things I started doing this week: yelling at my video-editing software, investigating the case of the missing glee episode files, and (today) beginning the tedious process of manually converting and re-uploading and sorting each episode.

Which means: Things I did NOT make this week: likeasouffle's vid. That is going to take another week or two, because the above process is SLOW. But. IT WILL HAPPEN.

Thing I did this week to handle my frustration from that: Chapter two of Kurt Hummel Is Not A Cat

Vidding sounds SO HARD. I'm astounded by anyone who's physically capable of doing it. I'm sorry everything is being such a pain. I'm stopping myself from feeling guilty by assuring myself that all the work you're doing is necessary for all your future vidding projects anyway. (Right?) Don't worry about timeliness. I'm the slowest fic writer in the world, so, you know, no worries. :)

Vidding is one of the easiest, most intuitive things in the world for me. But making the programs behave? NOT SO MUCH.

And don't feel guilty at all! I needed to switch programs for work, and I've been frustrated with the one I have been using. This was bound to happen. I'm just sorry that it's affecting someone besides me.

Things I did this week: Caught up on Community (IT'S SO GOOD), planned Glee fic that I will never get round to writing, survived another therapy session and failed a biology exam.

I LOVE ABED! Britta is my favourite, because she is me, but Abed is a close second. I have annoyed everyone I know with constantly saying 'Cool. Cool, cool, cool.' and singing (a probably butchered version of) the Spanish rap.

Oh! I don't know anything about Supernatural. LOL.

I say "Cool cool cool" too, haha. And I don't think it's possible to butcher the Spanish rap, since it's nonsense anyway. :D

In Supernatural, the two main characters are these brothers called Sam and Dean, who I ship. There was a recent episode where they were investigating one of those kids play places (clowns, paying with tickets, the whole nine yards), and Sam got Dean a giant rainbow slinky that he wanted. Hence the username.

I meant that I probably butchered the Spanish in the rap. I've never learnt Spanish, so it is very possible I was singing random sounds that sound vaguely like Spanish words. Welcome to Fail City, population: me. :P

Thank you, on both counts, and I COULD TALK ABOUT COMMUNITY FOR EVER THERE WASN'T A SINGLE THING THAT I CAN THINK OF OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD THAT I DIN'T LIKE. Except for the Todd stuff. That was sad. :(

Things I did this week:

- Finished/published my Shakespeare!AU Klaine fic

-Squealed over narceus's awesome season 4 fic repeatedly. Also reread "Dragons" about a hundred bazillion times but shhh we aren't talking about that.

- Started a conversation about Blaine and dreams that's still going on, if you'd like to participate.

- Found out I have a hypothyroid disorder.

- Bought Mass Effect 3!

- Is only two prompts away from Bingo on my au_bingo card!

Argh, I guess I said that wrong... it's more... your particular take on things? Like, you catch stuff in meta that other people don't (Just like I do, or Weeds does, or needsmoregreen does, or Jakia does...). Like, you connect moments happening in canon like Terri and the pseudoephedrine thing, or the monkey pillow. It's wonderful. Like a fine net- no moment is too small for you to catch.

Me? I get broad strokes, story parallels, and stuff like that. Your meta approach is different, but just as good (Or, imo, better because broad strokes types are dime a dozen).

I'm getting a lot of the tiny-details thing because this is my second watch through. Like with the Terri thing, I didn't remember the line about her high-school attitude the first time I watched it, but this time through I knew about pseudophedrine, so the line stood out.

The broad strokes are cool too though! And it's awesome when the tiny details and the broad stuff ties together. Like, having read your reviews before my re-watch, I had the "Figgins is an amazing negotiator" and "Will does terrible things" themes floating through my brain already when I spotted the Everyone Has A Price monkey pillow.

I was unemployed and sat around a lot and also wrote our very own Weeds a birthday fic about Artie, so, that was a thing.

I also wrote the first 2k of the next chapter of Dragons, but let's not talk about that. Why do things refuse to write themselves?

I put a sort of old Tumblr story about Kurt and Finn and Mario Kart up on my LJ!

I also wrote about a thousand words of hideously depressing Kurt/Blaine breakup fic, which I very likely won't go back to. It was very fun to write in Wes's POV for a bit, though.

I started talking to someone whose writing a really love about the possibility of writing something together. We're both excited. I am super excited.

And... that's it? That's it.

I did a lot of working at a restaurant. I also got some intense news re: family.

idk, I spent most of this week irrationally hating 90% of fandom (and rationally hating quite a large hunk of that)

IIIII did not do much in the way of fandom BUT

I made it through another week of year twelve without dying, managed to turn my constant "CANNOT DO THIS" state into a "MAYBE THIS IS OKAY" one, and also won a debate (on a medical topic, which was adjudicated by a med student) against a boys school whose blazers are exactly the same as Dalton's but the red is pink (Weeds can vouch for this).

Also I made phonecall (for work) that took me less than an hour to actually get up the courage to make, and I only cried for twenty minutes after? Which is, unfortunately, a Big Achievement for me, so y'all can share in my prides.
