Happy Friday! Hopefully you're home from work and getting ready for an epic weekend! In my city there's a Pride Parade tomorrow and I'm so excited!

What did you accomplish this week? Did you do great stuff at work? Did you write an awesome fic? Did you manage to get yourself dressed and out of the house, continuing to eat and breathe and not murder people? Tell us all about it!

So many things this week!

I organized the tags for the comm. We're down to only 69! (That number is a total coincidence, I swear.)

I added a banner and changed the colours to match.

I rounded up all the prompt fills together in one post.

I finished editing my slave!Blaine story and posted it on my livejournal.

The banner (Perfect screenshot is perfect!) & colors look fantastic and hurray for organizing tags! Great job with everything & congrats on getting your fic all tidy & posted. Yay!

I trashed the outline for the next part of "In the World of Silence" and started over with it. That was painful but necessary because I'd really derailed myself with too many scenes that weren't important but were fun to write. I haven't rewritten as much of it as I'd hoped, but still hope to get it done over the weekend. I gained some new relevant scenes and insights in the process, so it was worth the hair pulling.

Wrote a brief smutty oneshot for a different GKM prompt: "White Noise". Still needs a little extra polish and I feel I rushed the climax & resolution a bit. (no pun intended)

Wrote two chapters for yet another GKM fill I'm keeping anon until it's done because it's a bit outside my comfort zone.

Also, I finally found my courage to make an lj account (misqueue) and start posting stuff to the kurt_blaine comm. It feels vaguely attention-whorish to me to post there. I'm used to writing fanfiction in an inactive geriatric fandom for unpopular couples & characters, so writing Kurt/Blaine in Glee is still pretty OMG-terrifying-people-might-be-looking-at-me.

But! It's totally awesome to have readers and meet people and have conversations. I'm just awkward and socially anxious and have been having a lot of bad brain days. So I'm giving myself a gold star for sort of getting over myself this week? Also for writing.

I have to go to bed now so I can't read it yet anyway, but I read the description of White Noise and wow, I am so excited to read that but so scared to at the same time. Half of me is like "ZOMG HOT!" and the other half is like "Oh shit that is going to end terribly!" Can I have spoilers for the ending so I know what I'm getting into? (Eeek!) Also your kink meme link doesn't work.

I am particularly taken by the notion of Kurt & Blaine spending the summer in LA with Cooper. I just, I'm making this face: :D That's a brilliant plan, guys! Also, ouch on the fatherhood one.

Sometimes nothing is a very good thing to accomplish.

As per usual none of my achievements are particularly fandomy...

But I did a Latin test I think went okay, I got my school report and am apparently coming first in two subjects so far, somehow :///. I am also 1.5k off the word limit for my HSC major work short story, which means I'm nearly done, and today I got to see Frankenstein for the 3rd time! :D ALso i got over some stress/hangups about my final monologue for drama, so, yay for that!

Congrats! That sounds like a good, very accomplished week to me. :D

Best of luck with the monologue. When I took drama in school, they were my least favourite thing. (Remember to point at the audience and to talk really loudly, so they know you're an intense actor who feels things really intensely! ;))
